Attending this year’s exciting WES show was a powerful reminder of the scale of opportunity andchallenge in the sector. Perhaps this was evident in the number of attendees far exceeding theexpected? In AMP 8 , the level of investment across infrastructure, water quality and digitalisationexceeds an unprecedented £100bn creating enormous potential for growth, collaboration andinnovation across all parts of the supply chain.
A key highlight for me was the role the supply chain will play in delivering against this challenge. Asuccessful AMP8 will be realised through the successful collaboration and joined-up delivery acrossclients, consultants, contractors and technology suppliers and UKSE Group is proud to be a part of thisjourney.
As a resource-based business, UKSE Group sees significant opportunities to support the needs ofclients and contractors across the sector. The conversations I experienced at WES motivated me in myrole in this sector to collaborate and partner with more clients than before – in order to achievesustainable outcomes for customers and the environment we all live in.
